Esters
Boedal is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of adipate and trimellitate esters to lubricants companies. We started supplying esters in 2006 and built our position on excellent and consistent product quality, expert technical support and competitive pricing. From this platform we’ve constructed an R&D programme, building our knowledge and supporting every ester with lubricant specific test data, for example oxidation performance, Noack volatility, distillation profile etc. Now we’re investigating the load carrying properties of esters and oils using the FZG gear test. Remarkably, two of our natural products fail load stage 12 additive free. We’re using our studies to design new esters with inherently good load carrying properties.
