They are available in a wide range of viscosities, sustainable or synthetically derived and can be designed to optimise properties for specific applications. Products whose importance to lubricant formulators we only see as growing. Our activities are built on an understanding of lubricant formulating, especially of industrial and marine lubricants.  We talk technical and behind every product is a dataset useful to lubricant formulators, eg RPVOT, dry TOST, Conradson Carbon, Distillation profiles etc.  We explore mechanical performance using the FZG gear test. We’ve also an active R&D programme developing new sustainable and synthetic esters with inherently good load carrying properties, with the aim of enabling formulators to reduce the S/P additive charge in formulations.
